Cristiano Ronaldo breaks more records

The UEFA Champions league has been Cristiano Ronaldo's land of exploits since he joined the competition.

He extended his legend in the match against Dynamo Kyev with a tap-in just in front of the goal line, lifting his career goal tally to 750, the highest feat ever achieved in the history of football.

He last scored again the Ukrainian side in November, 2007. The 35-year-old added to Federico Chiesa's opener at the Allianz Stadium, with Alvaro Morata adding a third shortly.

It was Ronaldo's 75th goal for the Turin giants since joining from Madrid in 2018 where he scored 400 goals to become Real Madrid's all time highest goal scorer.

The Portuguese Star has five goals to his name during his early days in Sporting Lisbon and 118 goals for Manchester United where he developed into a world super star under the tutelage of Sir Alex Ferguson and then a history making 102 international goals for Portugal which puts him in touching distance to becoming the world leading international goal scorer if he topples Ali Daei who has 109 goals in 149 appearances for Iran.

Ronaldo is one of only four current players to have eclipsed the 500-goal mark. Joining him in that selective quartet are eternal rival Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Bayern Munich hitman Robert Lewandowski.

Of those four, only Ronaldo and Messi have earned themselves membership into the 700-goal club.
