Lionel Messi will not be leaving Barcelona until 2023 if speculations are anything to go by.  The Barcelona and Argentina captain decided to remain in Catalonia for sometime before moving to America to team up with David Beckham at his club Inter Miami. The six time Ballon dor winner according to close associates has the intention of having his children go to high school in America before going to University and has already rented a £7.5 million flat in the newly built Porsche house which is a high rise building which boasts ocean front living and a personal elevator for your car. The building which was opened in 2014 is a 25 minutes drive to Inter Miami. The Argentine has recently revealed that a move to America is one thing that interests him. I would like to play in the United States and witness the life and the league there, but ultimately come back to Barcelona in some capacity.

Lionel Messi has in a recent interview exposed the WhatsApp conversation he had with Louis suarez and Neymar Jr in their group whatsapp.  The Captain who is on his 17th senior season at Camp Nou and has to his credit, 644 goals in 749 appearances stressed the fact that Barcelona sent Suarez out for free and no one is trying to buy good players so that they could win great trophies because the club has no money. The trio of Messi, Suarez and Neymar played together for over six seasons, winning two La Liga tittles and a champions league trophy together before going their separate ways. Speaking further in an interview, the Argentine admitted that they are still in contact with each other but that Neymar should be asked why he said that they will play together. He insists that his last discussion with Neymar was the Champions League draw which the Brazilian believes that their teams will be paired but Messi insists that he is not ready yet to meet Neymar on the pitch. 

Gebrial Jesus and Diego Costa were recently seen in a picture, topless and relaxed with the same woman at different locations. The pictures were found in a Bible which was contained in one of the two bags presented to a charity home in Marylebone by a woman of Spanish or latino origin who said that her friend was leaving the UK and so decided to do away with some things. After securing a rescue loan deal for Gareth Bale, coach Jose Mourinho has started another move to bring back Luka Modric to North London after a 30 million move a few years ago that raked in two league titles, five Champions League trophies and three club world cups. The Portuguese is reportedly in touch with the Croatian Captain over a potential move back to North London in 2021 following the expiration of his contract in June which allows him to speak to clubs from January 1st. The 35year old said he is happy in Madrid and hopes to end his career in the Spanish capital. He believes he still has the strength and some football left in his feet for some years to come. But has not ruled out anything yet. During his four-year spell at Tottenham, Modric played over 150 times for the north London club, scoring 17 goals but failed to lift a trophy during this time. He played 51 times for Mourinho's Real Madrid and scored four times during this period.

The rivalry between the two greatest Footballers of all time was triggered again on Tuesday when Juventus travelled to Barcelona for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League in which the Italian club came out victorious. The previous encounter went the way of the Catalan giants with captain Lionel Messi putting up a sinctilating show in Turin which left the entire Juventus team looking like pre school pupils. Unfortunately, Cristiano Ronaldo was unable to make the starting line up due to the coronavirus which he contacted a few days to the game. After a stellar performance by the Barcelona Captain and his teammates, the club made a short remark on their twitter handle targeted at the Italian side, mocking them for the loss. One of the UEFA Champions League matches scheduled for yesterday could not hold because of some suspicions of racist comments by a UEFA 4th official that sparked protests from both teams on the field of play. Today, it was revealed that hackers attacked the instagram account of  Sebastian Coltescu, a UEFA 4th official who made  racist comments against Istanbul Basaksehir's assistant Coach, Pierre Webo and used his Face as the referee's profile picture. Webo who Coltescu allegedly identified by using the word 'negru', the Romanian word for black responded aggressively but was held back by members of the coaching crew. The hackers who appear to be of Turkish origin removed the referee's biography and replaced it with say no to racism symbol. The remaining 76 minutes of the Group H match has been rescheduled for Wednesday evening and will be overseen by a different UEFA refereeing team.
