UEFA 4th Official's instagram account hacked
One of the UEFA Champions League matches scheduled for yesterday could not hold because of some suspicions of racist comments by a UEFA 4th official that sparked protests from both teams on the field of play.
Today, it was revealed that hackers attacked the instagram account of Sebastian Coltescu, a UEFA 4th official who made racist comments against Istanbul Basaksehir's assistant Coach, Pierre Webo and used his Face as the referee's profile picture. Webo who Coltescu allegedly identified by using the word 'negru', the Romanian word for black responded aggressively but was held back by members of the coaching crew. The hackers who appear to be of Turkish origin removed the referee's biography and replaced it with say no to racism symbol. The remaining 76 minutes of the Group H match has been rescheduled for Wednesday evening and will be overseen by a different UEFA refereeing team.As the referee came over, footage appeared to show Coltescu identifying Webo by saying: "The black one over there. Go and check who he is. The black one over there, it's not possible to act like that."Webo contested that as well as Demba Ba who later tried to bring back the teams alongside Maquinho after they left the pitch but could not because the team decided to leave for their hotel. He said: 'You never say "this white guy", you say "this guy", so why when you're mentioning him... listen to me... why when you mention a black guy, why do you say "this black guy."'Ba asked.
