Five Championship football players that will move to the Premier League before domestic transfer window closes
Deadline day may have passed but domestically, transfers within England will continue until October 16 because of the covid-19 interruptions.
With many Premier League clubs having a slow movement in the just closed transfer window, they will be looking in ward for replacements and the Championship provides that opportunity for them.
Snapping up the best from the EFL would be beneficial and economical. But which players are going to put pen to paper for premier league clubs before the domestic transfer window closes.
Let's take a look at five of them
Said Benrahma
He has been extremely impressive and composed in front of goal, netting 17 times last term and did not relent in the new season.
The Brentford forward must have caught the attention of his potential suitors with a brace against Fulham in the Carabao Cup early this month. He is courted by West Ham but there are more clubs after his signature too.
Joe Rodon
Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be after the signature of the Swansea centre back. He has raked in 49 appearances for the club in which he grew from the ranks and broke into the first team in 2018.
He is valued at £20million after Tottenham Hotspur's £7million was rejected. Leicester is yet to make a move.
Ismaila Sarr
After being relegated, Watford appears willing to listen to offers for the Senegalese if his £40million price is met. He was prolific last term and showed promises in his game.
Manchester United and Crystal Palace are after his signature.
Josh King
The Bournemouth forward was on the way back to Manchester United but the deal never worked out. He was equally sort after to serve as back up for Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur. Now he is being courted by West Ham who's keen to get the 28 year old as a replacement for Porto bound Felipe Anderson. He's rated £12million.
David Brooks
He has shown his capabilities at Bournemouth, he scored seven times and raked up five assists in his first season at the club but was restricted by an ankle injury in the following season. He's rated £40million.
He's been courted by Liverpool, Leicester City, Everton and Manchester United.
