It's been a different Champions League this season, no thanks to covid-19 pandemic. But that didn't take away the glamour and grace associated with the competition. The unexpected happened, League 1 and Bundeslega outclassed the entire contenders to book a place in the grand finale of the most prestigious club football competition in Europe. It was amazing but to an extent not a surprise because alot of the big wigs in Spain and England were ailing, with the exception of Manchester City and Juventus (the lone voice in Italy) that got bedeviled by that same ailment that has kept success away from them in that competition. Sunday is the day to settle the scores between a German veteran and a French newbie.
