Guardiola vows to fine Grealish

Jack Grealish and Pep Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has insisted that his players will be fined for not inviting him for a night out. He made the joke when asked if he was angered by the video circulating in which Jack Grealish was seen looking very drunk.

“A lot, I am so upset because they didn’t invite me and I didn’t like it. Next time hopefully they can invite me. The video didn’t show exactly what happened.“They had dinner together, sober, enjoying with their mates and backroom staff. The players know there is a risk when they go out today because of social media but all of them- Riyad, Kyle, Ally (Marland kit man) Jack were perfect. But they will be fined because they didn’t invite me.” He joked.

Drunk Grealish

He was asked if he was disappointed with the way the video portrayed the players and he replied, “in this case, yes.”

Grealish who was wearing a white hood was seen being led by a man as they make their way out of a Bar in Manchester as he was so drunk that his legs could not carry him properly.

It can be recalled that Grealish and Phil Foden have been subject of disciplinary issues two months ago when they were dropped for not turning up to training session in the right condition following a night out.
