Afcon Goalkeeper pulls off insane saves

The likes of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Samuel Chukwueze and the rest were the names on the lips of football enthusiasts prior to the start of this African cup of nations going on in Cameroon, but goal keepers are gradually proving to be the Stars of the tournament.
Salim Ben Boina. Comoros goal keeper

Comoros versus Morocco was a walk-over for the North African side on paper, but that was not to be on the match day proper with the hero of the match coming from the less fancied side in the person of the goal keeper, Salim Ben Boina who pulled off an incredible triple saves to save the blushes of Comoros.
Though the Athlas Lions finally had their way through the goals of Aboukhlal Zacharia and Salim Amallah which ended the game 2:0 in favour of Morocco, the scoreline would have been worse had it not been for Salim's heroics in-between the sticks. The FC Martigues of France shot stopper showed great reflexes when he stopped three Moroccan players at point blank in the 77th minute.
He stepped down to stop Nayef Aguerd diving header, then stopped balls from Romain Saiss of Wolves and another from Adam Masina of Watford concurrently within the eighteen yard box.
He went on to wrap up his gallantry on that Friday night by saving a well taken penalty from Sevilla's Youssef En-Nesyeri.

Saved Youssef En- Nesyeri's penalty.

The island team which comes from a country with a population of around 850,000 people are last in their group having fallen to Morocco and Gabon. They are ranked 132nd in FIFA ranking ahead of countries like Andorra, Latvia and Malta.

Though the Star-studded North African side won the duel, it wasn't as easy as many thought it would be, thanks to the Heroics of their inspirational goalkeeper.
