SS Lazio's youngster who's age saga went viral. Where is he now

Joseph Minala who was signed by Lazio but was immediately accused of lying about his age by an African media.

His documents showed that he was 17 years as against the 42 years old the outlet alleged.

After a few stinct at Lazio, he was shipped off to Bari to continue his career but was sent off to Latina in just his second year at the club in 2016.

Salernitana came calling but was later to part ways with him and decided not to resign him after three seasons.

Qingdao Huanghai, to a Chinese club decided to take a gamble with the controversial figure and it paid off to a great extent.

"The team has achieved it's goal, I am happy to have contributed." It has not been easy was after being out for for several months. He said.

Lazio have now decided to bring him back in January and he is open to a return if it materializes.

He was accused by senego.net in 2014 of reducing his age to 17, an allegation the Italian football federation have disproved.
