Tottenham demolish Saints

The long awaited Tottenham transformation is here with us. The terrific trio of Bale, Kane and Son have not yet United but the Spurs front line is already becoming a terror.

Heung-min Son has begun to show himself as a force to recon with in a star studded Frontline. He was gifted four assists by his partner in crime Harry Kane in a match that saw Tottenham humiliate Southampton 5:2 in their backyard.

The Jose Mourinho led team bounced back from their opening match defeat against Everton to stamp their authority in the new season. Without much words, it's obvious that the 2018 Champions League runners up have no intentions of merely participating in the league this season, they have intentions of winning trophies.

Gareth Bale after signing the dotted line, insisted that he has come to help the club win trophies, to help motivate the dressing room and try to win.

After a disallowed goal for both sides in the opening minutes, Danny Ings gave the Saints a well deserved lead by connecting properly with a Kyle Walker Peter's pass and fired passed Hugo Llories.

Just before half time, Son latched on a Harry Kane pass before Alex McCarthy could do anything about it.

The second half saw Son escape from his markers to get hold of Kane's through pass and slot in the second goal as Spurs run riot at the Saint Mary's Stadium.

A chipped pass from Kane again helped the South Korean to pull his first hat-trick of the season and followed it up with another one after a cross from Kane found him and he wasted no time in puting the ball past the goalkeeper with a chip.

Kane finally found the back of the net after four assists by tapping in Eric Lamela's shot that hit the post.
