Chelsea scraps names of two legends from the Stadium
The Chelsea football club has decided to make some changes to the entrances of the Stamford bridge in preparation for the return of fans to the stadium.
They decided to do this by removing the names of two football players that represented that club in the 80's, Nigel Spackman and David Speedie from the entrance of the stadium. It was initially put there by Ken Bates, the former owner.
The two legends it should be recalled fell out of favour with the fans at some point.
Nigel Spaceman fell out with fans when he supported Liverpool in a Champions League game against Chelsea in 2008 while David Speedie fell out with the fans when was accused of making racist at an after dinner event in 2004.
